“I do like to keep a certain mystique about me.”
What I expected:
I expected to read about Sienna Nealon’s progression in her life with the Directorate. Possibly some interaction with her newly discovered Aunt, Charlie.
What it was:
Sienna Nealon is training as a Directorate agent, but she manages to get into trouble for playing too rough. Then something happens which sends her and her fellow trainees on their first assignment, whether they are ready or not. This book progresses Sienna’s life in the outside world and introduces more external influences on her teenage decision-making; for good or bad.
More intrigue and mystery, especially towards the end make me want to continue reading this series.
I dropped the score on this one a little, I thought it wasn’t as well written as the first two in the series, but I still enjoyed it.
3/5 Stars (What this means…five-stars-applied-carefully)
